Hi
ReplyDeleteIs the Courtline pic at the top of the page (which is fab) one of yours? I'd like to use it in a publication if we can.
Thanks
Elise
HI Elise. Yes it is a great photo. It is not one of mine just got it off the net no photo credit with it with what I could find.

I flew on the orange 1-11 to Munich in '72. Think it was called Halcyon Sun.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was called that. It was the first aircraft I flew on. Luton to Ibiza April 1971.
DeleteElise, the photo of Court Line's 1-11's lined up was taken at Luton Airpot taken by British Aircraft Corp back in 1971. It was one of their publicity photos. The article you are doing what is it about and when will it be out?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mark
I worked as cabin crew and loved my job, was shocked to wake up and find it gone one morning as they folded :-(
