Hi - my name is Peter Cook and I write a weekly two page feature on local history for the Medway Messenger. I am planning a piece on the Short Shetland, which of course was built in Rochester, and came across your picture on this site. It;s a particularly good one for me as it also shows the Shorts factory on the River Medway. I was wondering if you could email me a copy and if I could have permission to use it. Hi Peter It is a Life mag photo (I can't find the original scan) hence the mark on the photo posted on the blog. I always give credit when possible. I must confess I did not ask for permission for this photo hopefully a credit will keep people at bay?! By all means use it if you wish?
